I was inspired by the artwork whilst in India, and decided to produce this Lino Print of the Goddess Durga. This and other India inspired prints will be on display at House Cafe, 52, St Benedicts Street, Norwich, between 22 June and 20 July 2014. I am selling Prints, Paintings, Tote bags and cards in support of the NGO I visited which is called Ramanas Garden Childrens home in Rishikesh, India. I printed in oil based inks onto red handmade Indian paper, and have developed a second plate which I have been printing using multiple colours.
There are some beautiful prints to see at the exhibition. I have been lucky enough to witness Gini in the process of producing these super items. Well worth coming to see them all together with the cards and other original Art. Ramana's Garden is a very worthwhile charity to support as it provides hope for the future of these Indian children.
